Full Payment for all orders must be made before delivery/collection
I can provide a free price estimate via email ( firstname.lastname@example.org) on all wedding designs. This is useful if you are planning your wedding flower budget and require a rough idea of what things cost. There is also a current Wedding Price page on my website, to give you a starting point for costing designs.
If you then decide to book me for your wedding flowers, we will arrange a consultation, where we get together to discuss and plan your wedding flower requirements.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total amount is then required 3 months before the date and the final balance is to be paid 3 weeks before the wedding.
Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer (details on request) or cheque (cheques payable to Sarah James).
The deposit is non-refundable upon breach of contract. The deposit is deducted off the final balance.
The final balance is paid 3 weeks before the wedding date. Cancellation refunds after this date will be considered based on circumstances and will be less the deposit and any costs already incurred by the florist for the wedding.
The contract is between the Betrothed Couple and myself and cannot be changed or cancelled by a third party.
Wherever possible I try to offer a free delivery service on wedding flower deliveries, but there may be occasions when a delivery charge is applicable. This will be included in the quote from the outset if a delivery charge is required.
Flowers for wedding cakes:
As from 2024, a new policy is being introduced by the wedding cake industry regarding the placing of fresh flowers on wedding cakes.
The cake industry requires florists to only provide fresh flowers that have not been treated with any pesticides or
insecticides. Unfortunately for flowers being imported into the country, it isn't possible to establish this, so florists have to assume that all the flowers and foliage they are using have been treated with pesticides and therefore should not be placed directly onto wedding cakes.
If your cake provider is okay with you having fresh flowers on the cake and wants me to provide these, then I can provide the flowers but there will be a disclaimer in place, handing responsibility for the flowers over to the cake provider.
GDPR new policy update.
